I was born in Boston, taught myself how to dance from watching music videos, moved to L.A., and was teaching at Millenium, Edge, and Debbie Reynolds in L.A. in my first year. I discovered I did not like performing, but I danced for Shakira at the Grammy Awards, choreographed by my friend and super choreographer Jamie King as a favor. Too much drama. Not my style. I did some choreography for B.O.U.N.C.E. in Sweden, which was cool but not what I'm really interested in. I'm a free spirit, and I just wanted to teach. Soon, I became famous as a hip hop instructor in L.A. People were coming from around the world to take my classes, and then I was invited overseas. Italy and Japan were first to take me, and then the word spread, so , for the last 15 years I have been travelling around the world, doing what I love;
